The Beer Report: Mission St. Hefeweizen

Continuing our “99 Bottles of Beer” blog series, let’s try out a Mission St. Hefeweizen:

It’s a bright gold color. A pretty minimal amount of head is present, and no head sits at the top of the glass.

No particular smell is present.

It’s got a very light taste going down, with no aftertaste.

Fairly chewy for a hefeweizen, and with a minimal amount of carbonation.

It’s pretty good. Hefeweizens aren’t my favorite type of beer, but this one tastes very smooth and refreshing. I paired this one off with a white shell pasta and tuna, and the lightness of this beer pairs off well with the heavier taste of the pasta. Enjoy!
